I sure wasnt wishing injury on him but I am not going to pretend i am bothered that he is injured.

He still gets his check and he knows playing this sport it comes with a risk of injury.

Now lets see the kids!

Doesn't make a lot of sense to not be bothered by an injury to a key player when the team is off to a solid start.

Assuming since they didn't recall Morin today they'll roll with manning Tuesday and a call up will be made for the road trip. I am betting on sanheim manning and than provy gudas. But who knows

He was playing well, we are off to a good start, this will probably hurt the team more than most think. Everyone is looking at it as a good thing and should not be.

What I want to happen:

Provorov Gudas
Ghost Hagg
Morin Sanheim

What I think will happen:

Provorov Manning
Ghost Hagg
Sanheim Gudas

Veteran Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Andrew MacDonald will miss four to six weeks with a lower-body injury

The most obvious course of action for the Flyers now would be to recall Sam Morin from the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms

Morin and Sanheim played together last season on the Phantoms, with Morin playing left defense and Sanheim on the right

Radko Gudas might slide up to the top pairing with Ivan Provorov.

Andy was playing well and it may hurt the team. Or not. It remains to be seen.

Regardless, I never want to see a player get injured though it is an unfortunate part of the game. If Sam does gets the call, I'd want to see him get some ice time. If not, I'd rather see him remain where he is.

Morin and sanheim on the 3rd pair. Shelter them if need be, whatever. The time is now

What irony. The guy we all want to leave gets hurt while taking one for the team and even with something (probably) broken he still fights on to help stop a goal.
We knew someone would be injured. It may as well be AMac
Now what can we female dog about?
Maybe Morin doesn't get the call up so everyone can go ape poop!

Team is playing well, no need to vote for rocking the boat. That said, they have depth. Now is the time to test it. I put Morin in with Sanheim for a game and see what happens.

Wow it didn't take long for someone to be "happy" one of our players who showed nothing but grit and determination to stay on the ice and help finish off an important victory was injured. We fans would love him if not for his salary, If he were making 1mil no one would ever say a word but since he's overpaid he's a bum, Last I checked the finances mean nothing on the ice, Yes we overpaid him, he has been a model teammate, no whining when we sent him to the AHL for a year, The players didn't elect him "A" by mistake. The coaches and teammates don't speak good of him for the fun of it.

There is also a difference between the obligatory praise -- when you specifically ask a teammate about a player -- and players wanting to make sure the guy gets some credit. More than once, when Provorov has fielded questions about his individual success, he has also made sure to send some credit to MacDonald for being what he considers an easy partner to play with.

Yes, that speaks to Provorov's maturity and future leadership potential of his own -- clearly, Provorov could find success with a variety of different partners -- but also speaks to the respect that MacDonald gets in the room regardless of what fans think about him.

our 3 best LD are provy, ghost, sanheim, morin our 3 best RD are hagg, gudas, sanehim, manning

will be interesting to see how the pairs are made up. I think Ghost and Sanheim both suffer a bit when they need to play their off side

I really hope they don't mess with the Gostisbehere/Hagg pairing. They've been very good and Gostisbehere has been a difference maker so far.
